I'm a writer, editor, arts advocate and digital media specialist currently working as an associate editor at Dance Magazine. In that role, I manage the publication’s website, edit and write service columns and features for print, and contribute and/or edit the majority of the site’s online content. I also do freelance work as a writer, editor and social media consultant.
I’ve served as the Chair of Dance/NYC’s Junior Committee, a group of young dance professionals who advocate for equity in the dance world, and have presented my research on the barriers women choreographers face at the Women in Dance Leadership Conference.
I graduated with honors and as an Athena Scholar from Barnard College of Columbia University, where I studied Dance and English.
Originally from the Outer Banks of North Carolina, I'm an overly-enthusiastic basketball fan, a competitive spin class junkie, and an unapologetic feminist.
